The packaging has been improved greatly, to aid the ease of application. There has been a 40% increase in size, from 50g to 70g, but Skin Cupid has decided to keep the price the same. The formula and consistency has largely stayed the same. It is resistant to sweat and water for up to 80 minutes.

This viral sunscreen is known for its watery light texture and refreshing yet non sticky finish on the skin. This new and innovative formula is the first of its kind that contains Kao Beauty’s newly developed Micro Defense formula. It uses a capsule packed with a UV protection agent that ensures every area of the skin is evenly covered and fully protected. It does this by forming a fine veil on the skin and spreading into micro crevices when applied.

The ingredient list also boasts star ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid and Royal Jelly Extract that hydrates and provides anti-aging care. Best of all, this SPF is water resistant – suitable for oily/combination skin. 

Ultra-waterproof (water resistance tested in water for 80 minutes). 

What’s the difference between the Biore Watery Gel and Watery Essence?

The Watery Gel is also popular for the body whereas the essence is only for the face. Both have a lightweight, watery texture but the gel is more runny and leaves a slight white cast upon application but fades quickly. However, the gel contains less alcohol and is thus less irritating for more sensitive skin types.
